Thanksgiving is this week, along with a 4 day weekend. Eating out and having less structure can be challenging to say the least. I feel confident that I have a good plan of attack in place. I just have to stick to it and remember why I have a plan in the first place!  You can download my full meal plan here, or view the details below.

Snack: (8am)
Apple & String Cheese (Tuesday only)

Breakfast: (9:30-10:30am depending on hunger level)
Homemade Instant Oatmeal Packets – 7 pp
Canadian Bacon & Egg Beaters breakfast sandwich (recipe coming soon) with tomatoes and blackberries on the side – 5 pp
Egg White & Vegetable Omelet – 3 pp
Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal with pecans & raisins (recipe coming soon) – 7 pp

I made up a huge batch of instant oatmeal packets on Sunday. The breakfast sandwiches and pumpkin pie oatmeals were made in advance and frozen.  The egg white omelet will be made fresh on the day I eat it.

Lunch:   (12:30pm) 
Chili (recipe coming soon) & Side Salad – 8 pp
Butternut Pumpkin Soup (recipe coming soon) & Side Salad – 5 pp
Cheddar Meatloaf Casserole (recipe coming soon) & Broccoli – 6 pp

The chili was made over the weekend. The butternut pumpkin soup was also made over the weekend. The cheddar meatloaf casserole will be leftovers from dinner one night.

Snack: (4:30pm)
Apple & String Cheese
Banana (Tuesday only)

Dinner:  (6-6:30pm)
Gorton’s Smart & Crunchy Fish Fillets, Couscous, & Asparagus – 8 pp
Cheddar Meatloaf Casserole (recipe coming soon), Mashed Potatoes, & Broccoli – 9 pp
Turkey Soft Tacos (recipe coming soon) – 12 pp
Chili (recipe coming soon) & Cornbread Muffins – 10 pp
Four Cheese Wonton Lasagna (recipe coming soon), Garlic Bread, & Caesar Salad – 14 pp
Cornflake Crusted Chicken (recipe coming soon), Couscous, & Broccoli – 13 pp

Since I only have to work three days this week, I intend to cook more involved meals some of the days. The fish, couscous, & asparagus are all frozen and will be baked just before dinner. The chili was made over the weekend. The ingredients for the turkey soft tacos are in the freezer. The tacos just need to be assembled before we eat. The meatloaf casserole, wonton lasagna, and cornflake crusted chicken will be made just before we eat.

Snacks:  (8-9pm)
WW Chocolate Caramel Mini Bar – 2 pp
1 cup grapes – 0 pp
1 cup tropical fruit mix – 0 pp
Tea or Coffee Latte made with skim milk – 2 pp

I did much better on the snacking this past week. I need to continue with that behavior this week for sure. With Thanksgiving and eating out on Saturday, I won’t have the extra points for it anyway!

My plan this week has me using basically all of my weekly points+ allowance, which I am totally okay with. If I can stick to my plan and not go over my weekly allowance, I will be happy no matter what the scale says!
