Weekly Meal Plan ~ 02/09/15

I have been feeling lost the past couple days without my weekly meal plan!  After doing nothing but working on my site the past three days, I just don’t have the time or energy to type out the full details like I normally do.  I apologize, but I hope this is better than nothing!  đź™‚   If you want to save or print the meal plan for reference, just click the photo for the PDF version!

BREAKFAST: The homemade instant oatmeal packets were made several weeks ago. The breakfast sandwiches were made last week and frozen. The apple cinnamon oatmeal will be made in advance one night this week.  The smoothie will be made fresh on the weekend.

LUNCH: The turkey meatloaf, Mexican meatloaf, Mexican chicken soup, pumpkin butternut soup, and white veggie lasagna were all made in advance and were already in the freezer.  The salads were made in advance and stored in mason jars to keep them fresh.

DINNER: The chicken philly subs and chicken stir fry were made from meal kits that were already in the freezer.  The chicken soft tacos will be assembled just before dinner, but the Mexican shredded chicken was made in advance and frozen.  The pancakes, lasagna, and bacon ranch chicken will all be made just before dinner.

Daily Points+ Usage

Day Points+ Used Weekly Points+ Used
Monday 28 2
Tuesday 53 27
Wednesday 28 2

Friday 33 7
Saturday 34 8
Sunday 36 10
TOTAL (Wednesday-Sunday): 30

My plan this week has me using 30 of my weekly points+ allowance Wednesday through Sunday. This leaves me with 19 weekly points for changes, unexpected additions, or for use on Monday or Tuesday of next week. (My weekly points with WW run Wednesday through Tuesday.)

On my printable meal plan, you can see my full week along with the dinners for both me and my husband.  My husband’s dinners/points are shown to demonstrate that you can make it work even if your other household members are not counting or have way more points that you.

I can’t tell you how helpful it is to me to have a plan. It is easy to shuffle things around when I have my whole week laid out in this way.  It also makes it much easier to remember what needs thawed out the night before and what to pack for my lunch the next day!

  1. Thanks Laurie! I guess I’ll start doing it this way. It’s easier for me, so that’s a bonus. I just wasn’t sure what would be easiest for my readers, so I appreciate the feedback!!
