You know how much I like to meal prep and cook my own meals, but sometimes it just doesn’t happen! I try to keep a few frozen meals on hand for those days when I’m in a rush.
One of my favorite frozen meals from Lean Cuisine is the Apple Cranberry Chicken. This is part of the spa collection (ooo la la), and it is delicious! You won’t be left feeling hungry after this meal.
It has “grilled while meat chicken in an apple reduction” along with cranberries, french cut green beans, carrots, and whole wheat orzo pasta. I had never even heard of orzo pasta prior to eating this. At first I thought it was a little weird, but really it is just pasta that is cut in the shape of a large grain of rice! It still tastes like any other pasta.

There’s something sort of unappealing to me about eating out of a plastic tray. Whenever I’m able to, I’ll eat my frozen meals in a regular bowl or on a nice plate. It just looks prettier which helps with mental satisfaction.
Sometimes it even looks like a bigger portion when it’s out on a plate (as long as you use small plates). I like to trick my brain into thinking I’m getting more food whenever I can!
