January Weights Year by Year

January Comparison

In My Progress by Tanya1 Comment

The beginning of a new year is always a good time to reflect on where you started so you can figure out where you want to go next.  There is no failure during reflection.  There is only feedback.  When I look at the numbers and see that I gained two years in a row, I could easily see that as a failure.  Instead, I choose to see it as a success because I didn’t give up.  I bounced back and lost that weight the following year.

Date Weight Total Since Last Year
01/05/10 214.4 -31.4 -31.4
01/04/11 156.4 -89.4 -58.0
01/03/12 169.2 -76.6 +12.8
01/08/13 177.4 -68.4 +8.2
01/30/14 159.2 -86.6 -18.2
01/06/15 152.0 -93.8 -7.2

Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

It is really motivating for me to look back at my progress over the years. It reminds me how far I’ve come and helps me believe that I can keep going!
