Yay! I am getting a new heart rate monitor as an early birthday present from hubby! My old one died, and I’ve been without for a while! I’m super excited!! I am getting the Polar FT4 from Amazon.
This is so awesome to help me see the results of my efforts. It also helps me push to keep going if I can see I’m close to hitting my goal for calories burned. As an added bonus, it helps me with my pace when I’m running. If my heart rate is too high, it’s a signal that I better slow down if I want to make it through the whole run.
Does anyone else use a heart rate monitor? What do you love or hate about it?
