Today wasn’t too bad except for the fact that I was trying to watch a TV show on my tablet that kept freezing. So I watched a show in 30 second increments, if that long. So, yea, that was pretty awesome and super annoying but I didn’t stop! I completed C25K W4D2 this morning before work. That’s 2 morning workouts this week – that’s an accomplishment in itself!

  • Couch to 5K Week 4 Day 2
  • Walk 5 minutes to warm up
  • Run 3 minutes
  • Walk 90 seconds
  • Run 5 minutes
  • Walk 2.5 minutes
  • Run 3 minutes
  • Walk 90 seconds
  • Run 5 minutes
  • Walk 5 minutes to cool down

I did better today than I did on Monday! For the 3 minute running segments, I kept my speed at a 6.0. For the 5 minute running segments, I did the first one at a speed of 6.0 and the second one at a speed of 5.0 for the first 4 minutes and a speed of 6.0 for the final minute. All my walking was still at a speed of 3.0 on the treadmill.

I wanted to do all the running at a speed of 6.0 but my heart rate was already pretty high. I figured it was better to run at a 5.0 than to get burned out and have to stop. Hopefully on W4D3 I can run the whole thing at a 6.0!
